Each week, TeamUSA.org recaps the performances of U.S. athletes through photos, showing where in the world Team USA athletes competed and how they performed. During the week of July 9-15, American tennis players battled in the final rounds at Wimbledon, where Mike Bryan paired with Jack Sock to win men's doubles, Serena Williams finished second in women's singles, and John Isner fell in a six-and-a-half hour semifinal in men's singles; golfers from around the world competed at the Scottish Open, and Matt Kuchar won the weekend's pre-tournament Hero Challenge, which tested golfers' accuracy through target competitions; beach volleyball pairs traveled to Switzerland for the Gstaad Major; the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF) held a shotgun world cup in Tucson, Arizona; American track and field athletes competed at and won the inaugural Athletics World Cup in London, where Queen Harrison served as captain in honor of the 100th anniversary of women earning the right to vote in Britain; members of Team USA graced the red carpet at the Sports Illustrated Fashionable 50; USA Volleyball won the women's Pan American Cup in Dominican Republic; the U.S. mixed relay triathlon team scored bronze at world championships in Germany; and the USA Red team won the USA Softball International Cup in Irvine, California.
