Three-time Olympian Phil Dalhausser and 2016 Olympic teammate Nick Lucena are the top-seeded men’s team in this week’s FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour four-star tournament in Espinho, Portugal.

Competing for the first time at a World Tour event since the four-star tournament in Huntington Beach, California, in early May, Dalhausser and Lucena are among nine U.S. teams in the tournament.

U.S. women’s teams include three-time Olympic champion Kerri Walsh Jennings and 2008 Olympian Nicole Branagh, who are the number nine seeds, and Sara Hughes and Summer Ross, the sixth seeds.

The men’s and women’s finals are scheduled for Sunday.

Joining Dalhausser and Lucena in the men’s main draw are the teams of John Hyden and Theo Brunner, seeded ninth, and Jake Gibb and Taylor Crabb, seeded 11th.

Three U.S. women’s teams also were seeded among the top 11 in the main draw: Walsh Jennings and Branagh, Hughes and Ross, and Kelly Claes and Brittany Hochevar, who were seeded ninth. Claes and Hochevar are coming off a fourth-place finish at last week’s four-star tournament in Warsaw, Poland.
