For making my dreams a reality. For inspiring me to work harder and harder everyday because it’s so easy to do when you are right beside me. Just. Thank you. 🌟💛🌟 pic.twitter.com/FaTb0ArIch— Mikaela Shiffrin (@MikaelaShiffrin) February 25, 2018
PyeongChang 2018. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you to everyone that has been riding with me and supporting me through this point in my life. You are the inspiration that has enabled me to continue pursuing my passion for so long. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This was my 3rd Olympic Winter Games across 3 different Continents. I feel blessed to have represented my country, family, friends, team, sponsors, fans, and the countless number of people that I have gotten to build with along the way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although I didn’t get a medal this time, I know that I did everything in my power to get here and put it all on the line. In the face of victory or defeat, I hope that I was able to send a message that overcoming the obstacles that stand before us really is the true testament to who we are. Dream big, and have faith that whatever it is that you are doing will bring you peace and prosperity! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Keep building.
Huge shoutout to everyone who made my first Olympics so incredibly special! @MadiHubbell @MartinGarrix @TeamUSA @USFigureSkating @pyeongchang2018 & and the friends, volunteers, athletes and officials for their tireless dedication to us and these games ❤— Zach Donohue (@ZachTDonohue) February 25, 2018
Closing ceremonies starts tonight. It’s been so cool to compete in two games with @lagehring1, one of my very first training partners. We both started training at the Northbrook Speedskating Club almost 20 years ago. (Along with @whitmoreusa) pic.twitter.com/DxNfCRu7Q4— Brian Hansen (@BrianTHansen) February 25, 2018
