Day Two of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 was eventful for the U.S as Red Gerard picked up the first medal of the Games for Team USA with his gold in slopestyle snowboarding. Luger Chris Mazdzer also made history as the first American male to win a singles luge medal. Women's ice hockey kicked off their campaign to end a 20-year gold medal drought with a 3-1 victory over Finland. And elsewhere Team USA athletes were busy competing in the figure skating team event, mixed doubles curling, cross-country skiing, biathlon, and long track speedskating.
