Shaun White stole American’s hearts when he won his third gold medal, the most by any snowboarder in history. And of course, we cannot forget the young phenom Chloe Kim…
At the Winter Games, Mikaela Shiffrin won her second straight Olympic gold medal, plus a silver – at the young age of 22. On the other hand, a bronze medal meant something different for Lindsey Vonn, as it marked the conclusion of a successful legacy.
The U.S. women’s ice hockey team, men’s curling team and the cross-country skiing combo of Jessie Diggins and Kikkan Randall also brought us moments we won’t soon forget. While these memories were the most prominent on social media, they don’t scratch the surface on all of the impressive feats accomplished by our athletes at this year’s Winter Games.
