Snow and below-freezing temperatures don't slow down USA Swimming; it just means that competition moves inside. The USA Swimming Winter National Championships took place this week, and there was no shortage of excitement.

The winter nationals provided swimmers with their first opportunity to qualify for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Katie Ledecky was the first athlete to qualify for Olympic Trials on Wednesday after winning the 800-meter freestyle. Ledecky went on to win three national titles during the event.

Because of all that is at stake, the big names in the sport were in attendance - with Ledecky, Simone Manuel, Nathan Adrian and Caeleb Dressel headlining the list.
