Madison Keys, a 2016 Olympian, is one of the Americans prepping for the upcoming US Open by playing in this week’s Western & Southern Open, an ATP Masters 1000 event, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Keys, the 2017 US Open runner-up, is the No. 13 seed in the women’s tournament.

The quarterfinals in the women’s and men’s singles tournaments are Friday, followed by the semifinals on Saturday and the finals Sunday.

Also in the women’s tournament is unseeded Amanda Anisimova.

Among the men’s doubles teams are Olympians Sam Querrey and Rajeev Ram. The women's doubles quarterfinals Friday include Sabrina Santamaria and Kaitlyn Christian.

The doubles finals are also Sunday.
