Two-time Olympian Sam Mikulak and U.S. balance beam and floor exercise bronze medalist Trinity Thomas are in Tokyo this weekend to compete in an all-around world cup.

Mikulak, the 2015 Pan American Games all-around champion, finished seventh in the all-around at the Olympic Games Rio 2016.

A contender to make the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team, Thomas helped the U.S. win the team championship at the 2017 Jesolo Trophy competition, and she won the floor exercise at the 2016 Jesolo Trophy.

The world cup is a one-day event Saturday at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.
