Connor Fields, a two-time Olympian and 2016 gold medalist, enters the final two stages of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup fourth in the points standings.

Stage 5 is Friday and Saturday in the Sport Center of Santiago del Estero, Argentina. The Stage 5 finals are Saturday, followed by the series-ending Stage 6 finals Sunday.

Fields won the Stage 3 race in May in Belgium and was third in Stage 2.

Also entering the competition on an impressive run is Corben Sharrah, a 2016 Olympian who won the elite men’s world title in July in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He is 10th in the elite men’s rankings. He won the 2016 world cup race in Santiago.

Tanner Sebesta is also competing in the men’s race, while Danielle George is the only American woman entered.
