Alpine Skiing:
Mikaela Shiffrin opened the slalom world cup season by finishing second at the FIS World Cup in Levi, Finland.

Bobsled:
Highlighted by Team USA’s first world cup gold medal of the season, the U.S. brought home five medals at the IBSF World Cup in Lake Placid, New York.

Cycling:
Jennifer Valente upset the reigning world champion to win the women's omnium at the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Manchester, England.

Fencing:
The U.S. men’s foil team won gold and Gerek Meinhardt claimed bronze in the individual event, concluding the 2017 Prince Takamado World Cup in Tokyo.

Figure Skating:
Adam Rippon and duo Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue skated away with two silver medals at the NHK Trophy in Osaka, Japan.

Ice Hockey:
The U.S. women posted a 5-1 victory to win the Four Nations Cup in Wesley Chapel, Florida.

Para Shooting:
Team USA brought home the team bronze medal and John Joss and Marco De La Rosa each claimed an individual bronze medal at the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Bangkok.

Skeleton:
Matt Antoine and Katie Uhlaender finished eight at the IBSF World Cup in Lake Placid, New York.

Snowboarding:
Chris Corning, Red Gerard and Kyle Mack opened the season with a Team USA podium sweep in men's big air at the FIS Snowboard World Cup in Milan.

Speedskating:
Joey Mantia took the mass start silver medal at the ISU Long Track World Cup in Heerenveen, Netherlands.

The U.S. men’s 5,000-meter relay team set a world record to claim gold at the ISU Short Track World Cup in Shanghai.

Also This Week:
Carli Lloyd scored the final goal for the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team to close its season with a 3-1 win over Canada in San Jose, California...The U.S. women’s tennis team clinched its record-extending 18th Fed Cup title in Minsk, Belarus...Team Roth leads the women's standings while Team Shuster and Team McCormick are tied on the men's side at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Curling, which conclude Nov. 18 in Omaha, Nebraska.
