During the week of July 17-23, Paralympic track and field athletes owned the podium at the World Para Athletics Championships; the U.S. women's field hockey team competed at the FIH World League Semifinals; golfers headed to England for the renowned Open Championship; beach volleyball players got sandy at the FIVB World Tour Olsztyn while the U.S. women's volleyball team advanced to the FIVB World Grand Prix final round; the U.S. men's soccer team advanced to the Gold Cup final; cyclists neared the end of action at the Tour de France; and U.S. swimmers, divers and synchronized swimmers continued action at the FINA World Championships.
