Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian in history, has added another title to his collection: Daddy. Boomer Robert Phelps was born to the swimmer and his fiancée, Nicole Johnson, at 7:21 p.m. on May 5. Phelps announced Boomer’s arrival on his Instagram account Saturday morning.

A veteran of four Olympic Games, Phelps has accrued a record total of 22 Olympic medals, 18 of them gold. His eight gold medals at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games are the most at a single Olympics for any athlete. He will attempt to qualify for his fifth Games at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Swimming June 26-July 3 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Phelps and Johnson, 2010 Miss California USA, were engaged in February 2015 and have not yet set a wedding date, but have indicated it will take place following the Rio Olympic Games in August.
