U.S. Women's Volleyball Team Defeats China, Claims Top Spot In Group

RIO DE JANEIRO -- The U.S. women's volleyball team concluded pool play with an unblemished record after defeating China 3-1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-19) Sunday afternoon at the Maracanazinho.

With the top spot in Pool B secured, the Americans look ahead to the knockout stage that begins on Tuesday, Aug. 16. They will play the winner of this evening's match between Japan and Argentina, which will decide fourth place in Pool A.
