Each month, the United States Olympic Committee celebrates the outstanding achievements of Team USA athletes through the Team USA Awards presented by Dow. The USOC announced today the five nominees in the female and male categories, and three nominees in the team category. Jamie Anderson (snowboarding)
Won both the big air and slopestyle world titles and finished atop the World Snowboard Tour rankings for the 2015-16 season. Click here to vote for Anderson.
Gabby Douglas (gymnastics)
Opened the Olympic year by claiming two all-around titles at the AT&T American Cup and Jesolo Trophy, posting scores of 60.165 and 59.650. Click here to vote for Douglas.
Oksana Masters (Paralympic Nordic skiing)
Went undefeated to claim her second straight overall cross-country title in the women’s sitting class at the IPC Cross-Country Skiing World Cup Finals. Click here to vote for Masters.
Shawn Morelli (Paralympic cycling)
Won her first track cycling world title in record-breaking fashion, taking more than a second off the world record, at the UCI Para-cycling World Championships. Click here to vote for Morelli.
Mikaela Shiffrin (alpine skiing)
Added her fifth slalom victory of the season at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Finals, finishing ahead of the field by 2.03 seconds. Click here to vote for Shiffrin.
Joe Berenyi (Paralympic cycling)
Defended his world titles by winning gold in the C3 individual 3K pursuit and 1K time trial at the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships. Click here to vote for Berenyi.
Eli Dershwitz (fencing)
Qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and became only the second U.S. men’s saber fencer in history to win a Grand Prix title. Click here to vote for Dershwitz.
Jordan Holm (wrestling)
Won the 85 kg. Greco-Roman gold medal at the Pan American Olympic Qualifier, outscoring his opponents 20-0 and earning a U.S. quota spot for the Rio 2016 Olympics at 85 kg. Click here to vote for Holm.
Steven Lopez (taekwondo)
Won the men’s -80 kg. division at the Pan American Qualification Tournament to secure a spot on his fifth Olympic Team. Click here to vote for Lopez.
Mike Minor (Paralympic snowboarding)
Captured his first overall world cup title in banked slalom, while adding four medals at IPC snowboard world cups in leading Team USA to the 2015-16 Nations Cup title. Click here to vote for Minor.
Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross (beach volleyball)
Won two medals in Olympic qualifying events – highlighted by a gold at the Rio Grand Slam – to jump to No. 11 in the Olympic rankings as the top-ranked U.S. women’s team. Click here to vote for Walsh Jennings and Ross.
Women's National Sitting Volleyball Team

Women's Senior National Water Polo Team
