One week ahead of the FIVB World Tour Finals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Olympic silver medalist Jennifer Kessy and two-time Olympian Phil Dalhausser are on the other side of the world in China.

Kessy will play with Emily Day in the women’s portion of the FIVB World Tour event in Xiamen, China, and Dalhausser, a gold medalist in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, will play with partner Nick Lucena in the men’s tournament.

Both teams are trying to score qualification points toward the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games.

Also in China are the U.S. teams of Lane Carico and Summer Ross, Kim DiCello and Kendra Van Zwieten, Amanda Dowdy and Heather McGuire, and Irene Pollock and Caitlin Ledoux in the women’s tournament. Joining Dalhausser and Lucena in the men’s tournament are the teams of Taylor and Trevor Crabb, Derek Olson and Jeremy Casebeer, and two-time Olympian Sean Rosenthal and Theo Brunner.
