
TORONTO, Ont., Canada, July 19, 2015 – 2012 Olympian Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy, won the silver medal in the men’s trampoline finals today at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto. Gymnastics competition at the Pan Am Games concludes tomorrow at the Toronto (Ont.) Coliseum with the final day of event finals for rhythmic, beginning at 10 a.m. ET.
Gluckstein opened with three Triffus elements: a Triffus piked, a half-in, tuck Triffus and a tucked Triffus. Ending with a triple-twisting, double back, called a Miller, he posted a 55.595 for second place. Canada’s Keegan Soehn was the gold medalist with 56.405, and the bronze went to Colombia’s Angel Hernandez (55.190). Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, began with a pike Triffus into a half-in, tucked Triffus to a tucked Triffus. He closed with a Miller for a 53.080 and seventh place.
Clare Johnson of Huntsville, Ala./The Matrix, and Charlotte Drury of Laguna Niguel, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Johnson began with a piked Tiffus to a half-in, half-out piked. She closed with a layout full-full for a 51.230. Drury opened with a tucked Triffus and a half-in, half-out piked to begin. She finished with a one-and-a-half in, half out to score 50.190. Canada’s Rosannagh Maclennan took the women’s gold medal, scoring 53.560. The silver and bronze medalists were Dafne Navarro Loza of Mexico (52.000) and Canada’s Karen Cockburn (51.560), respectively.
