The Week In 16 Photos: Feb. 2-8

Each week, TeamUSA.org recaps the performances of U.S. athletes through photos, showing where in the world Team USA athletes competed and how they performed. During the week of Feb. 2-8, Eric Beauchemin, Hailey Langland and Maddie Bowman dominated at the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix, Lindsey Vonn, Travis Ganong and Teg Ligety earned medals at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, Hannah Kearney scored gold at the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, and Chris Derrick and Laura Thweatt took home top prize at the USATF Cross Country Championships.

2) Beauchemin and Langland @ Sprint U.S. Grand Prix

"Well, the bad news is that it was too windy to hold finals, so I had to settle with my qualifying position of 2nd. (Props to @justin_dorey for crushing it in the wind and @guskenworthy for the "Best run, no doubles" award). The good news is that California is finally supposed to get some snow. 4) Women's Bobsled Team @ FIBT World Cup
The U.S. women's bobsled teams finished 1-3-4 (Elana Meyers Taylor and Lauryn Williams, first; Jamie Greubel Poser and Cherrelle Garrett, third; Jazmine Fenlator and Lauren Gibbs, fourth) at the FIBT World Cup on Feb. 6, 2015 in Igls, Austria.
