Gallery: First-Ever Kids' Choice Sports Awards

Team USA's best and brightest showed up in style to the orange carpet at the inaugural Kids' Choice Sports awards hosted by Nickelodeon on July 17, 2014 in Los Angeles, where their youngest fans had the final say. An impressive 22 Team USA athletes were nominated in 12 different categories. Eight U.S. Olympic athletes won awards in nine categories, highlighted by Best Male and Female Athlete categories going to basketball player Kevin Durant and gymnast Gabby Douglas, both gold medalists from the London 2012 Games.
