Going into the FIFA World Cup Brazil, many thought Team USA wouldn't make it out of the Group of Death. Tactful goals and a decisive defensive effort helped the United States advance past Group G to the Round of 16. The U.S. men's World Cup run ended with a loss against Belgium, but their performance in the four games proved that Team USA stands as a tough competitor on the global soccer stage.
