COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) announced today that media days for the 2010 U.S. Olympic Team’s Team Processing will take place on Monday, Feb. 8, and Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 3-7 p.m.


Team Processing for the U.S. Team will take place from Feb. 3-12 at the Delta Hotel in Vancouver, Canada. More than 300 U.S. Olympic Team members, coaches and officials will gather by team at the hotel prior to dispersing to the Olympic Villages in Whistler and Vancouver. Athletes will participate in team briefings, apparel distribution, official U.S. Team photos, medical screenings and other activities as a part of Team Processing.


Members of the working media and news outlets credentialed by the USOC for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver can request credentials to attend the scheduled media days on Feb. 8 and 10. U.S. Teams expected to participate are listed below. The Team Processing facility will be open to credentialed media members from approximately 3-7 p.m. on these days:

Media members interested in attending one or both media days at Team Processing are required to submit a credential request at least 48 hours prior. Only journalists with proper accreditation will be allowed to enter Team Processing. No specific athlete is guaranteed to be available for interviews.
