COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee today released two resource documents related to safe athlete training and sport event planning in the current environment.

The documents on training and event considerations, available at, were authored by USOPC Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jonathan Finnoff in collaboration with USOPC staff, and with external input from a broad group of medical experts, public health officials, athletes, sports organizations and event planners for the purpose of offering specific guidance for athletes and sports organizations both in and outside of the Olympic and Paralympic movements.

We are pleased to make Dr. Finnoff available via teleconference tomorrow, April 29 at 11 a.m. MT to discuss his work in preparing the documents and specific information related to athlete training and events.
