COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Media registration is now open for the 2018 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Assembly, to be held Sept. 20-21 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The annual two-day gathering of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic family will coincide with the USOC board of directors meeting and will feature USOC constituent council sessions and a general address from USOC leadership.


The event will conclude with an awards dinner on Friday night, recognizing the USOC’s annual recipients for the Jack Kelly Fair Play Award, presented by BP; the Olympic Torch Award; the Rings of Gold awards for both an individual and a program; and two awards for achievement in the areas of diversity and inclusion. The awards dinner will feature Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti as the keynote speaker and Olympic ice dancers Maia and Alex Shibutani as hosts.

More than 250 participants are expected to attend, including National Governing Body personnel, Olympic and Paralympic athletes, Multi-Sport Organizations representatives, and USOC board members and staff.

A limited number of rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis at The DoubleTree (1775 E Cheyenne Mountain Blvd.) for the nightly rate of $169 plus tax. A shuttle service will be provided to The Broadmoor.
