Table Tennis 
The U.S. will send a team of 14 table tennis athletes to the 2019 Parapan American Games, led by Tahl Leibovitz who has earned multiple gold medals at previous Parapan American competitions. Four out of the 14 Americans are Paralympic medalists, with Leibovitz, Terese Terranova, Jennifer Johnson and Pamela Fontaine bringing their experience to the Villa Deportiva Nacional in Lima, Peru. 

Leibovitz will be looking to defend his title from the 2015 Parapan American Games in men’s singles, class nine. He was one of two Americans to earn gold medals in table tennis at Toronto 2015, along with Benjamin Hadden who won the men’s singles, class 11 event.

Competition will begin on Tuesday, August 22, and will continue through Tuesday, August 27. A total of 19 countries and 127 athletes will be competing in the single discipline for Para table tennis.
