About Lima 2019

More than 6,600 athletes from all 41-member nations of the Pan American Sports Organization will compete in 39 sports and 62 disciplines, of which 22 disciplines are qualifiers for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, the most Olympic qualifiers in history at a Pan American Games. Competitions and ceremonies will be held across 14 districts of Lima and Callao, making Lima 2019 the largest Games in Pan American history.
