Seared Tuna with Mango Salsa

Ingredients
2 tuna steaks, about 6 ounces each 3 tablespoons soy sauce, divided use 1 mango, diced 1 avocado, diced 3 scallion, sliced |
1 tomato, diced 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced 1 lime, juiced 4 tablespoons canola oil |
Directions
- Drizzle 2 tablespoons of soy sauce over tuna steaks and let sit for 5 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine mango, avocado, scallions, ginger, the remaining tablespoon of soy sauce, lime juice and 1 tablespoon canola oil. Gently stir and set aside.
- Heat the canola oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add tuna steaks and cook for about 1 minute per side until browned but center is still rare. Transfer to plates, top with salsa and serve.
