At the United States Olympic Committee, athletes and the power of sport inspire team members everyday - their persistence, encouragement, comradery and spirit activate every employee and set the stage for a better world. As an intern, you will help us bring the Olympic and Paralympic values to life by working to serve athletes and making dreams come true.

To be eligible for the internship program, students must have completed at least two years of college before the start of the internship and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university in the United States or have graduated within the past six months.

  • Winter/Spring internship session runs from the first week of January till the beginning of June with opportunities posted here in mid-October. Apply now.

We have a limited number of internships opportunities available, so it is highly recommended that you include a cover letter and letters of recommendation along with your resume. You will be contacted by phone or email if you are selected for an interview. All candidates will be notified by email when a position is filled.

Internships are available in Colorado Springs, CO and Lake Placid, NY. Interns are paid at an hourly wage of $12.45.

We offer internships with the USOC in broadcasting, journalism, marketing, sports medicine, sports administration, human resources, development, strength and conditioning and more. Internship opportunities may also be available in many of the National Governing Bodies of Sport such as USA Swimming, USA Triathlon, USA Wrestling and others.
