Connie was the first female member of the Brazos County 4-H Sportsman's Club in College Station, Texas in 1978. The club was the fist 4-H shooting sports club in the nation. She learned to shoot international style skeet at a training camp led by world and Olympic champions Dean Clark and Matt Dryke. Connie graduated from Texas A&M University in1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She has worked for Texas A&M in the Department of Agricultural Economics since 1995.

Did You Know?

Beyond shooting, Connie was always active in sports. She participated in volleyball, basketball, track and cross country in high school. She also made time for recreational softball, while still shooting full time. On the road Connie is an avid reader, and likes to keep herself occupied with needle point work.
