  • How'd you get started? When I was about 12, I was looking to try a new interesting sport. As a result, I became enrolled in a middle school sprint-kayaking program at Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club (LCKC) and have been hooked ever since.
  • Trivia: I enjoy discovering new music and genres

Jared started paddling with Lanier Canoe and Kayak at 12 years of age.  In 2007 he joined the sprint team and has been training ever since.  He enjoys the K-4 and K-1.  His goal includes paddling with the U23 team and advancing from there. Jared participated in the Men's Kayak Four team at the 2009 Junior Sprint World Championship, Moscow, Russia.
