How did you get involved in the sport?

In high school I started through Florida high school weightlifting. I was lucky enough to have an Olympic weightlifting club at my high school that I started training with after school.

What is your favorite lift in competition?

Any third attempt.

What is your greatest accomplishment/ achievement of your athletic career?

I’m proud of everything I have done in the sport. Everything I have overcome, how long I’ve dedicated myself to my goals and how I continue to be open to learning and growing to get better after so many years. Of course certain personal records and teams I have qualified for are great and worth adding but I’m more focused on the future.

Who have been your biggest supporters in your athletic career?

I’ve had a lot of role models in this sport that have shaped who I have become. Some were athletes and some were coaches but there are too many to list here. I’ll say for sure I cherish everyone who has taken the time to mentor me or support me through my career.

What is the best part about competing?

Making lifts when it counts.
