Personal Profile:

Christella practiced judo for several years as a young child, and returned to judo in 2007 to train toward making the 2012 London, Paralympics Games. During the past six years she has had significant competitive success and was named to the 2012 Paralympic Team.

She is a member of the Sacramento Judo Club where she trains three days per week under the watchful eyes of her coaches Mack Takate. Christella also trains twice a week at Ultimate Fitness were she receives strength and grappling instruction.

In her free time, Christella enjoys reading, cooking, and working for local charities.
