CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS

AVAILABLE OPPORTUNITIES

Continuing education programs are for currently training and retired Team USA athletes looking to further their education by obtaining a degree or certificate.  The programs listed below have a relationship with the ACE program and offer 'athlete friendly' opportunities. Often, they will include tuition assistance or scholarship opportunities.

Tuck Business School Certificate Program For Elite Athletes and Veterans

Dartmouth College | April 5-21, 2021

Offered by the renowned Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, Next Step is a general management certificate program designed for elite athletes and military veterans who are preparing to take the next step in their careers. The Next Step curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation in the business acumen necessary to be competitive in today’s job market. Tuck Executive Education is excited to announce that it will be offering the spring 2021 session of Next Step as a virtual experience from April 5-21, 2021.

Team USA Tuition Grants for Next Step Participants – Applications Closed 
The USOPC will offer a limited number of scholarships to eligible Team USA athletes to attend the Next Step program each year. You must have already applied to the Tuck Next Step program to apply. Applications are now closed for the 2021 session. 

The next round of scholarships will be available late 2021 or early 2022.

Exciting new program available now through a partnership with General Assembly and The Adecco Group; official sponsor of ACE and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee.

We are offering free enrollment in General Assembly’s Discover Social Media course for any eligible athlete who is interested. This is a five-hour hour course intended to teach the foundational skills needed to establish a social media presence. This course contains 18 lessons on topics including social media strategy, social media channels, and influencer marketing. This course is perfect for anyone looking to get a better understanding of social media strategy and marketing.

As part of the DeVry USOPC sponsorship, DeVry University Career Services is sharing its interactive webinars focusing on employment and job readiness topics to ALL ACE athletes and alumni. To attend these webinars, you do not have to be a DeVry student. Simply sign up using the link and enter your email address and the word GUEST where they ask you for your student D# number.
