2022 Service & Hope Award in partnership with Comcast

By U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation | July 14, 2022, 4:40 p.m. (ET)

Application Deadline Extended to Sept. 14

Last year, the USOPC established the Team USA Service & Hope Award in partnership with Comcast, a grant awarded to Team USA athletes who embody the Olympic & Paralympic values and who participate in meaningful service with a nonprofit organization focused on youth sport, physical activity, or health and well-being.

Up to four $25,000 awards are granted on a yearly basis. For each of the four selected winners, half ($12,500) is awarded directly to the athlete, while the other half ($12,500) is directed to the athlete’s nonprofit of choice. Read about the inaugural 2021 winners, and mark your calendars for the upcoming 2022 application period, which opens Aug. 9 and will close Sept. 14.
