RACE INFORMATION

 

MARATHON

  • Race Details

    • The Indoor Marathon Fantasy Camp is limited to forty runners. The race will take place Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center – Velodrome in Colorado Springs, Colo. Runners will need to finish approximately 211 laps around the track to complete the full marathon. The inside track is 200 meters in length. There is a 6-hour time limit. All registrants will receive a dri-fit t-shirt and memorabilia race gold medal.

       

  • Race Check-in

    • Fantasy Camp and Gold participants will receive their race packet at the front desk of the Athlete Center at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center upon check-in. Silver registrants can pick-up their packet from the Velodrome competition venue on race day starting at 7:00 a.m.

  • Aid Stations and Storage

    • There will be a large refreshment station on the inside of the track. Runners can keep water bottles in a designated area near the station. Volunteers will be on hand to fill runners' bottles with water and sports drinks upon request. Runners should bring their own bottles as cups will not be allowed or provided due to spillage concerns. There will be another designated area for runners to store extra clothes, drinks, gel packs, energy bars, etc.

       

  • Lap Counting

    • Each runner will be assigned a counter. Counters will be responsible for updating the runner verbally when asked.

 

HALF-MARATHON

 

  • Race Details

    • The Indoor Marathon Fantasy Camp is limited to forty runners.
