Brence Culp

Brence Culp is an accomplished executive known for uniting stakeholders and driving results in both the private and public sector. At LA 2028 Brence is responsible for shaping the vision of what the Games’ legacy will be. She oversees LA 2028’s portfolio of social responsibility work, specifically as relates to youth sports, sustainability, community relations and beyond. Culp also leads much of the organizing committees’ government affairs, and is instrumental in steering LA 2028’s civic mission. She joined the organization in September 2015.

Prior to her current role, Culp served as the LA 2028 bid committee's executive director of sustainability and legacy. She also served as the interim CEO and chief deputy CEO of Los Angeles County and she worked for the City of Los Angeles as the CFO and division head for the office of the chief legislative analyst. She received her juris doctor from New York University School of law and her bachelor of arts from the University of Chicago.

She lives in Pasadena, California with husband Mark and son Sigmund, while daughter Trudy is pursuing culinary arts in San Francisco.
