KEVIN PENN
Chief, Business Operations

Kevin Penn was named the chief of business operations for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee in June 2016. In this role, Penn is responsible for the corporate shared services and operations at the USOPC. In this capacity, he has direct oversight of facilities, finance, information technology, internal business consulting, security, strategic planning as well as the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic training centers and sites.

Prior to the USOPC, Penn spent 18 years at Highwoods Properties, a multibillion-dollar publicly traded real estate investment trust where he served as senior vice president of strategy and administration. Penn also worked for Genentech, a biotechnology firm located San Francisco.

He is active civically and currently serves on the board of the Colorado Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau. Previously, he was the chair for the Triangle Urban Land Institute and the North Carolina Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Penn received his bachelor’s degree from Boston University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Penn lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife and two sons.
