BOBBI MCPHERSON
Chief People Officer

Bobbi McPherson has served as the chief people officer for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee since April 2019. In her role, McPherson oversees a division dedicated to developing and educating administrators within the Olympic and Paralympic movements to help ensure the world-class athletes of Team USA are supported by world-class talent behind the scenes.

McPherson joined the USOPC from Two Roads Hospitality, an international lifestyle company that operated more than 85 independent, boutique and lifestyle hotels, and was acquired by Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 2018. Supporting a dispersed workforce, McPherson implemented processes to ensure pay and title equity across remote and property-based employees, improved team member relations through proactive training programs, and reconstituted the HR team to properly meet the needs of a post-merger workforce of 15,000 team members.

Prior to Two Roads Hospitality, McPherson served as chief people officer for the publicly traded ski resort company Intrawest and as chief talent officer at Meritas, LLC, a Sterling Partners portfolio company providing private and boarding school education globally. Having served as the leader of talent and human resources at various companies since 2005, McPherson has a proven track record in process improvement and a dedication to workforce education and development. She has also worked as a women’s leadership coach.

McPherson attended Texas Christian University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management before attending Cornell University to earn her master’s degree in industrial and labor relations.
