In 2014, the U.S. Olympic Committee re-launched the U.S. Olympic Academy with a number of activities, and in April 2015, the second-edition of the USOA Workshop took place at the LA 84 Foundation headquarters in Los Angeles, Calif. This one-day, invitation-only conference brought together scholars and students, athletes and administrators, business experts and media authorities, to discuss Olympism and Olympic issues surrounding a central theme of the Olympic city lifecycle – from bid to legacy. This event will continue to be held on a bi-annual basis moving forward. See the left-hand navigation for more information and details about past workshops.
