Club Membership Benefits

Registering your club with USA Archery grants you many privileges, all of which are outlined below. USA Archery is grateful for the support our clubs provide to fostering the sport of archery.

JOAD Club

Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is a program for youth archers 8-20 years old. Participants in the JOAD program can enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition. The JOAD program offers barebow, basic compound, recurve, and compound archers the opportunity to learn range safety and proper shooting technique in an environment that also fosters increased self-confidence and team-building skills.


Adult Club

The Adult Archery Program is a program of USA Archery for adults, age 21 and older. Participants in the Adult Archery Program can enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition. Similar to JOAD, the Adult Archery Program offers barebow, basic compound, recurve, compound and traditional archers the opportunity to learn range safety and proper shooting technique that also offers opportunities for stress release, socialization and fun.

Collegiate Club

The Collegiate Archery Program is a program for youth and adults enrolled in a college or university. Eligible participants in the Collegiate Archery Program can enjoy the sport recreationally or actively prepare for collegiate archery program division events. The Collegiate Archery Program offers barebow, recurve, compound and bowhunter divisions.

Upgrade to JOAD/Adult Club Annual Fee (email clubs@usarchery.org to upgrade) $25

Liability Insurance:

Liability insurance covers club activities hosted by a USA Archery club. A club activity is defined as any activity within a 24-hour period that is planned and hosted by the member club for members or direct membership recruitment.

Event Sanctions and Event Insurance:

Clubs may apply to sanction local and state USA Archery events held outside general club activity. Approved event sanctions will also include event insurance.

Explore Archery:

Club members may participate in the Explore Archery program (Club must also register for the Explore Archery Program).

Grant Eligibility:

JOAD clubs are eligible to apply for the Ann Hoyt/Jim Easton Grant.

Marketing and Promotion:

Clubs will be listed in USA Archery’s Online Club/Program Locator and are eligible to build a FREE club website using ArcheryEvents.com

Logo Permissions:

Club has access to USA Archery logos and banner artwork for approved usages. Contact media@usarchery.org for artwork files.

Special Programs:

Club members may participate in the Achievement Award Program and quarterly Virtual Tournaments.
