Curling was first an Olympic medal sport in 1924 in Chamonix. It wasn't until 1998 that it became a full-medal sport once again. Sochi will mark the sixth time that curling will be part of the Olympic Winter Games. Team USA was determined at the 2014 U.S. Olympic Team Trials, which took place Nov. 10-17 in Fargo, N.D. Teams skipped by Erika Brown and John Shuster won the Trials. Wheelchair curling debuted at the Paralympic Winter Games in 2006.
