2015 USAV Beach Women’s HP Tryout Camps (athletes born 1993-1996 only)
USAV Beach has announced the USAV Beach Women’s High Performance Tryout Camps on Jan. 2-5 in Chula Vista, Calif., and Clearwater Beach, Fla. Open to all Junior (U21) and Novice (U23) athletes born 1993-96, the USAV Beach Women’s High Performance Tryout Camp (WBHPTC) is designed to identify female athletes early in the year who will be invited to participate at our Transition Week Camp (May 11-17 in Hermosa Beach, Calif.) and ultimately our various Junior Beach National Team programs. The WBHPTC used 2015 FIVB/USAV Beach High Performance Age-Group Classifications.
2015 USAV Beach High Performance Tryouts (athletes born 1997-2004)
All athletes are required to try out for USA Junior Beach National Team programs on an annual basis regardless of participation in past programs or teams.
It is recommended that athletes try out as early as possible to get the maximum time to prepare should they be invited to Transition Week or another USA Junior Beach National Team program.
Tryouts are open to U.S. citizens born between 1993 and 2004. Entry into USAV Beach High Performance (BHP) programs is based upon selection at one of several USAV Beach High Performance Tryouts. Participants must have a current USAV membership (available online or through your local region) and be U.S. citizens. A membership link will be sent to those who are not verified as current USAV members. Tryouts will be led by USA Volleyball Beach CAP certified coaches. Our coaches have experience at the highest level of the beach game.
Athletes will receive a written evaluation and do not need to sign up with a partner. Athletes may attend multiple tryouts, but are not required to do so. Registration is online only. Walk-up payments ($100) will only be accepted via check payable to USA Volleyball.
Tryout dates and locations will be posted by Jan. 31, 2015.
