A detailed logistics email will be sent about two weeks prior to the program start date. Please see the information below, which is consistent among all programs.

 

Check In/Out: Typically check in and out will be around noon on the first and last days of the program.

Airport Shuttle Service: Athletes will be met personally at the specified home airport by coaches of the USAV staff. The exact location of pickup will vary among airports - we will specify in the logistics email. Please wear your USAV HP tryout t-shirt so athletes are easily recognized. If an athlete is registered as an Unaccompanied Minor with the airline, we will follow up with an email to athletes who will be registering as an Unaccompanied Minor. Please send proof that you have paid for this service to indoorhp@usav.org.

Housing: Campers will be roomed with 1-5 other campers, depending on the type of room the facility assigns to us.

Health Services: Please bring in writing any medical issues or nagging injuries that we should be aware of. Written advice from your doctor or trainer will be helpful to the onsite athletic trainer.

In case of medical emergencies, athletes will be taken to a major area hospital based upon recommendations of staff trainer.

What to Bring:

-5 days of volleyball attire: black or navy spandex shorts, socks, shoes, kneepads

*USAV will provide 3 training t-shirts athletes will be required to wear

-Toiletries: shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, flip flops, etc.

-Pain relievers (Aspirin/Tylenol) - trainers will not be able to provide any type of medication

-Laundry Detergent

-Money for snacks and gift shop (depending on the location of camp)

-Casual Clothing (1-2 outfits)

-Gym bag or backpack

-Water bottle

-Camera (If you have pictures you want to share, please send them to indoorhp@usav.org)

Schedule: The program schedule will be emailed to you in the logistics email.

Roommates/Rooming: We ask that you do not request roommates. We want you to have the opportunity to get to know other volleyball players from around the country. There will be 2-6 athletes per suite, depending on the type of room the University assigns to us.

If traveling by plane: Please bring a carry-on bag (backpack/gym bag) with a change of clothes for camp participation (including shoes) for at least one night. Airlines can lose your luggage and ofter it takes a day or more to be returned.

What not to bring: Fragile or breakable items, jewelry or items of value.

Camp Rules/Policies: Athletes are not allowed to leave camp at anytime without being handed over directly to a parent/guardian, as approved by the Head Coach.

If athletes are to have any visitors during camp, they must be family members. You will need to receive specific approval from the Head Coach. You will also need to provide the name and driver's license # of the visitor(s).

There will be no alcohol, drugs, or tobacco allowed during the camp. Violation of this policy will result in the expulsion of the athlete and the athlete will be returned home at the parent's expense immediately. There will be no refunds under this scenario.

Behavior standards for this camp, as with all USA Volleyball Camps, are extremely high. Athletes are expected to demonstrate respect for coaches, each other, and our camp hosts. You are expected to conduct yourself as responsible adults. Any for of hostile, abusive or obscene behavior will likely lead to expulsion and a quick trip home.
