Dream Job: To be an elementary school teacher
On what it means to represent the United States: There is no greater honor than representing the USA in the sport that I love. It is the best feeling in the world to put on that uniform with USA across my chest, and I am very grateful for the opportunity. I hope that I can make my country proud and inspire young women to chase their dreams of playing softball at the highest level. 
On what she enjoys most about softball: I enjoy the fact that nothing is automatic in softball and anything can happen. In a game, the winner has to show up and out play the other team. The game is always a challenge. There are many different ways the game can go, and different ways the game can be won. Sometimes you have to be creative in order to come up with a way to win the game
On how she started in softball: 
 My mom played softball all her life, and so it was natural for me to follow in her footsteps

Favorite activity is: Walking my dogs, hanging out with my family, going to MLB games and softball!

Best advice I have ever received: Be grateful for the time you get doing what you love, because you never know when it will be your last time
