Mauer gets call up for Unufe

Rocco Mauer will punch his ticket to Hong Kong for his first-ever HSBC Sevens World Series appearance as a late replacement for Maka Unufe. Mauer, a Cleveland, Ohio native, is one of the 10 USA Men's Sevens players to be under full-time training contract in Chula Vista, Calif.,is a former All-American, and was a standout at the college level for Bowling Green State University in Ohio.  

Unufe will remain in the U.S. for personal reasons.

The USA Men's Eagle Sevens will depart on Sunday March 18 for the fifth and sixth legs of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
