Olympic speed skater to visit city

Olympian to visit Roller Dome sites
Roller Dome North will get into the Olympic spirit this weekend when it plays host to Olympic speedskater Joey Mantia for speedskating clinics.
Mantia will be in town Friday through Sunday, skating at a public skate session from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Roller Dome North. He will be coaching clinics from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Roller Dome South.
Mantia started out inline speedskating when he was 8. He has won 28 world titles, three Pan American gold medals and broke six world records. In 2013, he qualified for the Olympic Games, where he competed in Sochi.
