Welcome to the first of a series of videos from USA Pentathlon.  In the combined event at the end of a pentathlon, being able to run efficiently is always important.  First of all, if a runner can move faster with less energy, the run time drops.  Second, if he or she can run up to the shooting range with a lower heart rate, shooting times should drop as well.  Here's a video with Team USA's Harry Greene explaining turnover and smooth efficient running.
