Anderson Takes Second at Youth Worlds Easily Qualifies for Final
Brendan Anderson's (Colorado Springs, Colorado) hard work over the past several years paid off as he dominated the boys semi-final event in Budapest, Hungary. Following a stellar fence, Anderson swam a 2:04 and then cruised to the finish in second position to easily qualify for Sunday's final. His performance virtually locked in his qualification to the Youth Olympic Games to be held in Nanjing, China in August. Seamus Millet (Durango, Colorado) and Luke Shereston (Roswell, New Mexico) were 27th and 30th respectively in their heat. Samuel Felix (Navato, California) finished in a solid 25th.
