Praise for U.S. Men’s National Team’s Talent During Summer Series
Our U.S. Men’s National Team went undefeated in their recently completed set of Chile test matches and we are the same boat with our current summer series against Mexico. Here is a report from USA Field Hockey Men’s National Team Coach Chris Clements:
Our Men's National Team has started strongly against Mexico scoring 14 goals and conceding only one in the two tests to date. Game one finished with a result of 6-1 and game two’s final score was 8-0. Further adding to the success of the series thus far, three more players have earned the right to represent our country. Congratulations to Tom McCarthy, Adam Miller, and Spencer Reed for earning their first caps.
The summer training and competition block is providing the young squad a great opportunity to gain valuable experience. We look forward to seeing more progress through the remainder of the summer. Keep up the good work guys!
The last four games are all at 10:45 a.m. PST including a match today, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center.
The team’s continual positive progress under Chris’ lead is a story of inspiration and hard work, all of which is relentlessly worked for day in and day out. We hope that your focus lies there as well and you use your energy to spread the importance of their summer series success as to help build hockey for men throughout the USA.
Olympic Youth Camps
Last week, USA Field Hockey hosted multiple Olympic Youth Camps across the country for the first time ever. Olympians and National Team athletes took to the field as head coaches, teaching the fundamental skills to campers, ages 7-13. The camps are another excellent opportunity to expose our National Teams and grow the game we all love. To suggest your city or town for Olympic Youth Camps in 2015, email email@example.com!

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: “The TSA is offering a $5,000 reward for the best idea on how to speed up airport security lines. So far the best idea is making a line for people who know what they're doing and another line for people who have never been to an airport before.”
Have a great week!
