San Francisco set to host instructor clinic in August

San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club to host USCA Level I Instructor Course in August

The San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club will host a USCA Level I instructor course on Aug. 23 at the Oakland Ice Center (519 18th St., Oakland, CA  94612) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please arrive between 15 and 30 minutes early to sign in.

Level I Instructors are trained to work with new curlers, helping them learn the game and basic skills. They also help novice curlers improve their performance. Clinics are open to members of any curling club. Please note these clinics are geared toward curlers with two or more years of curling experience.

Cost for the course is $65 (lunch will be provided by the club). As the course features an on-ice component, please bring curling equipment and clothing appropriate for being on the ice. You can download the course flyer here in PDF format.
