In her own words: I like the fact that curling can be played at all levels of competitiveness. THe more competitive -- the more I like it. I also like the fact that it can be very sociable and helps me meet many new people. This social aspect of curling makes the sport unique. Unlike most sports, where you run off the field and never talk to your competition, in curling you become friends.
