Grants and scholarships
It’s not every four years. It’s every day. To financially assist U.S. Paralympians and other Paralympic-eligible athletes, the United States Olympic Committee and its Sport Performance and U.S. Paralympics divisions have developed grant opportunities that can alleviate the cost of training and competition related expenses. The USOC also awards tuition grants and scholarships to help athletes who are pursuing higher education in addition to an athletic career with Team USA.
Among the opportunities offered by the USOC:
- Athlete Tuition Grant Program
- William E. Simon Olympic Endowment for the Support of Athletes
- 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Legacy Scholarship
Grants and scholarships are also available to Paralympic-eligible athletes through outside organizations that may or may not be affiliated with the USOC and U.S. Paralympics. If you provide funding to physically disabled and visually impaired athletes and want to have your grant or scholarship listed, contact Jamie Blanchard.
